Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: kpackagekit
Description: Ubuntu jaunty (development branch)
Release: 9.04
kpackagekit:
Instalados: 0.4-0ubuntu5
Candidato: 0.4-0ubuntu5
Tabla de versión:
*** 0.4-0ubuntu5 0

I updated from intrepid to jaunty beta, while testing kpackagekit I
noticed It never prompts for user password when root privileges are
needed, it just fails with a "you're not root" message after a lengthy
delay.
Note that when I need to edit the sources I do get asked for my passwd,
but not when I install/remove a package
there's the following error message in ~/.xsession-errors
process 6237: arguments to dbus_set_error() were incorrect, assertion "(error)
== NULL || !dbus_error_is_set ((error))" failed in file dbus-errors.c line 363.
This is normally a bug in some application using the D-Bus library.
Authentification error : org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply : Message did not
receive a reply (timeout by message bus)
** Affects: kpackagekit (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
