I mean if there was something as simple as "Disable SCIM" in the SCIM controls, and something like "Enable SCIM" in the SCIM panel preferences...
Why it has to be such a "distance" from the thing. So if a person types something and discover than an horrible menu popup forbids them to type right, he can look at the popup and disable it. So simple.
