Hello evlev, As additional information I'd like to add that this does not only affect the dialogs generic name, but overall naming: * type: Line Graph => properties name: Signal Plotter Settings * type: Bar Graph => properties name: BarGraph Preferences
Indeed it looks unprofessional, and indeed it is minor, so I am marking this bug with a low importance. Please note that we should forward this report to http://bugs.kde.org since this best gets resolved in KDE itself, rather than Kubuntu. If you should have time to do that, it would be greatly appreciated (usually it takes a lot of time until a team member gets to it :)). In case you should forward the report, please paste it's URL here, so we can link the two reports. In any case thank you very much for this report to help us improve Kubuntu and KDE :) ** Changed in: kdebase-workspace (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: kdebase-workspace (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed ** Summary changed: - naming inconsistency between context menu and window title + ksysguard naming inconsistencies ** Description changed: Binary package hint: ksysguard-kde4 When selecting "Properties" after right clicking a sensor display You get a window labelled "SOMETHING Settings" or "SOMETHING Preferences" (depending on type of display) The menu and all windows should be the same either "Preferences" or "Settings" or "Options". If the menu item's caption is changed from "Options" to one of the others, the "What's this" help should be updated as well + As additional information I'd like to add that this does not only affect the dialogs generic name, but overall naming: + * type: Line Graph => properties name: Signal Plotter Settings + * type: Bar Graph => properties name: BarGraph Preferences + Know this is minor, but it looks unprofessional in an otherwise very professional and useful tool ** Also affects: kdebase Importance: Undecided Status: New -- ksysguard naming inconsistencies https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/332200 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kdebase-workspace in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
