I tried to reproduce this bug, without success. It seems that it
occurred because it was the first time I launched Pidgin since the
system install, which means I had, when it crashed, just configured the
tray icon to be always showed. I think that it's nevertheless
reproducible if, after a fresh install, Pidgin is executed and
configured for the first time and if, in this very first instance, it's
tried to quit Pidgin using the tray icon while the buddy list is
visible.
