have you looked at your local kde directory? there is a global (eg. /usr/share/kde) and you local (eg. /home/dietmar/.kde); the tilt (~) is just your home directoy. and i made a mistake, the directory is log, not logs. so please have a look at: ~/.kde/share/apps/soundkonverter/log and post the newes log file plus the 1000.log
