This is really a failure. I attempted to suspend the laptop and somehow it didn't suspend. This failure is difficult to reproduce. It happens about 2-10% of the time. Still, the laptop has never suspend more consistently in any previous kernel that I am aware of. In the instances I have seen, the system does not panic with a flashing capslock. It merely fails to suspend.
