Not including usbserial as a module, just breaks several kind of 3G modems to correctly works. I can say at least two of them that just didn't work for me: Toshiba G450 (need to pass parameters), and Huawei e220 (must me plugged before the system is started, if not, it switch USBtty0 and USBtty1 and does not work).
Please, include usbserial as a module. If not, Jaunty will be a severe regresion for thousands of users unable to use their modems!!
