Did you have this trouble with 8.04 too? I had daily kernel panics with
this wireless chip and Hardy.

** Package changed: ubuntu => linux (Ubuntu)

Status in “linux” source package in Ubuntu: New

Bug description:
Installed 9.04 on this Dell D430 laptop. This is the same problem as I had with
the 8.10 release and didn't have a solution to.

System lock-ups with Intel 4965 wireless:

ups%20with%20Intel%204965%20wireless

With the previous version I installed linux-backports-modules-intrepid
package but it didn't fix it. I tried the same with the 9.04 version,
and it didn't work either.
