Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

I have established an email account, [email protected], on the
Comcast server. I have been able to configure Evolution Mail to receive
messages sent to this address, but after several weeks of trying, I have
not been able to configure Evolution Mail to send messages.I have
verified with Comcast that Comcast is a POP server and that the correcct
configuration for sending email is smtp.comcast.net. I have followed
the instructions in Evolution Mail>Edit>Preferences>Mail Accounts>+Add
to configure Evolution Mail to an apparent successful conclusion
according to the setup wizard, but still, when I try to send a message,
it simply goes to my Outbox and will not go.

I can go directly to email on my Comcast server and send email
successfully from there, so the problem is not with Comcast but with
Evolution Mail

Obviously, I have missed something in the configuration of Evolution
Mail to send messages, but I am at my wits end to figure out what it
is,partocularly since the setup wizard tells me I have followed all
necessary steps successfully.

I need aminutely detailed set of configuration instructions to show me
where I've gone wrong..
