Confirming it as well, quite annoying since I had just gotten used to using a shortcut to open the kicker menu and then starting programs by typing their names. I know I can also use krunner for this, but still... The main issue I have with it is that when I click outside the kicker menu (ie on the desktop) kicker does not disappear.
