Public bug reported:
After upgrading from 8.10 to 9.04 beta via update-manager, several menu
items are duplicated.
What is expected to happen:
After install, old menu items are removed or updated. Only one menu
item per application.
What happened instead:
The following menu items are duplicated after upgrade from 8.10 to 9.04
beta
System -->Preferences --> Removable Drives and Media (two menu items,
different icons). Each listing opens a different version of the
application.
Applications --> Graphics --> OpenOffice.org Drawing. Both open up the
same application.
Applications --> Accessories --> Screenshot / Take Screenshot
Applications --> Accessories --> Terminal
Applications --> Office --> Dictionary
