Hi Bryce,
Sorry for the delay. While I'm still planing to get an ATI card in the future
(6 month possibly, if the drivers improve by that time) and am still interested
by this issue (especially with Jockey, since it's a severe bug for
inexperienced users), I didn't keep the HD4870, and won't be able to test if
the problem has been addressed in Jaunty.
So it's probably better to just close the bug and let someone else
submit it to jockey with up-to-date apport files.
