Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: pidgin

I'm using Ubuntu 8.10, I Downloaded .deb files from getdeb.net (pidgin,
libpurple0, pidgin-data libpurplebin), after uninstalling previous package
files. I also installed pidgin-dev via "Sudo apt-get install pidgin-dev"
After that, I installed the musictracker plugin and pcre-7.8
Now it just seems to close without any warning. I will post the results from
running it from a terminal next time it closes.
