I tried connecting the laptop to a different monitor (Samsung SyncMaster 226BW), nothing changed, so I guess it doesn't depend on the VGA/monitor combination (not that I really believed that the monitor had anything to do with it, not I'm sure it doesn't).
I removed brand and model of the monitor from the bug summary. ** Summary changed: - Frequency not detected for external monitor ASUS VW202SR on nvidia GeForce Go 7300 + Frequency not detected for external monitor using nvidia GeForce Go 7300 -- Frequency not detected for external monitor using nvidia GeForce Go 7300 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/353067 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
