Public bug reported:

When writing in Hebrew in various application any pressing on the backspace 
(<-) key make the system behave like if pressed the 
Ctrl + backspace and log you off.
I run into this problem using Ubuntu 6.06.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start a conversation using kopete or editing song information in Amarok.
2. change the keybord layout to Hebrew (using alt+shift).
3. Press the backspace key.

Actual results:
The session is logged out.

Expected results:
the character written will be erased

Does this happen every time?
yes

Other information:
I tested it only using ubuntu 6.06
