In this case, I'm attempting the alternate install, so there is no Xorg log or conf to deal with. If it were an X install, I expect that I would be able to get to a console prompt.
As it is, I can't get to a usable alternate tty with the lpia hd-media vmlinuz/initrd.gz, so I can't get the lspci output. For what it's worth, I don't have this problem with the i386 hd-media vmlinuz/initrd.gz. With the i386, the installer gets far enough to start looking for the ISO, and it is able to mount both the SSD and USB drives. Is there any useful information I could gather after booting with the i386 media that could help in figuring the lpia meda issue? -- Jaunty lpia installer fails with hd-media kernel on dell mini 9 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/354226 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
