Thank you for reporting this issue. I can not reproduce it using Xubuntu
jaunty up to date as of 2009-04-06. This was attempted using a fresh
installation of jaunty. Both the quick search and the normal "Search"
worked as I would expect them to.
Was this an upgrade to jaunty? Have you run the updates? Try clicking on
the "Reload" icon, then search again.
