** Description changed: I've a creative labs x-fi extreme audio pci sound card which works flawlessly in Ubuntu 8.10 but the startup sound on Ubuntu 9.04 alpha 5 is distorted in fact it sounds as if two startup sounds are playing and are crossing each other, otherwise the sound is fine, plays mp3's ect no problem. + + + Update: Problem fixed with jaunty beta
