Public bug reported: Hi,
I have just installed Ubuntu Dapper 6.06 on my new laptop HP Compaq nw9440. This is a very recent hardware, but practically all function very well. Only one issue is yet present: the hibernate function don't function well. When I logout from the laptop with the Hibernate option, the PC save correctly his state and after a while turn off. When I press the key to turn on the laptop, it work for a while, but the display don't turn on correctly. I can see that the display is on, but is always black like a TV not correctly tuned. It seems that the hibernation process function well with the exception of the display wakening.
