My experience:
Samsung NC10 - Ubuntu Remix (9.04) - Microsoft Mouse 5000
First, follow this procedure:
http://blog.chinthaka.org/2008/09/getting-microsoft-bluetooth-mouse.html
until step 3 (included). Then, instead of step 4, install the bluez-compat
package with synaptic: this package is deprecated by Canonical but it is
working for now.
Next, proceed to step 4 of the guide but just before "sudo hidd --search" push
the connect button on the mouse until the red/green light.
Working by two days with no problems.
Hope this help.
