Please can you attach the outputs of the following commands:
uname -a > ~/uname-a
cat /proc/version_signature > ~/version_signature
sudo lspci -vvnn > ~/lspci-vvnn
xmodmap -pp > ~/xmodmap-pp
And if your mouse is usb, please also attach the output of this command:
lsusb -v > ~/lsusb-v
Next, enter this command:
xev | grep -i button
A rectangular box should appear. Place your mouse inside this rectangle
and scroll horizontally. Then, note down which button number is
mentioned in the terminal and report back.
Sorry about all the commands, but thats the information that's needed to
resolve the bug.
