Environment used for testing: Ubuntu 8.04 running on Sony TZ laptop as well
as UNR running on Payson project laptops.
Summary: With a large set of bookmarks (~ 2,000+), when going to
Bookmarks, Organize bookmarks, all open Firefox windows become frozen
for several minutes. This doesn't happen with relatively small set of
bookmarks.
Steps to Reproduce: Import a large (~2000+) set of bookmarks into the
Firefox, then go to Bookmarks, Organize bookmarks.
Expected result: No visible delay should be observed.
Actual result: Long, very uncomfortable delay, causing freezing all open
Firefox windows, requiring sometimes to close Firefox to get out of the
situation.
