i have same problem too... i used a custom icon set...
i'v tried it with gnome, tangerine also but the icon for "connection
established" doesnt show...
while disconnected notification shows the gnome icon even while using other
themes...
maybe if the label recognized for the human connection icon was given i
could try renaming my icons and give it a shot?
