Public bug reported:

Hi

I'm running Xubuntu 9.04 beta for some days now and were running Xubuntu
8.10 before.

We have a large NetApp server here at work where we store all our files. This
one is mounted
via cifs on my machine. But when accessing the share, as soon as I try to open
a folder that
contains approx. 374020 items, Thunar 1.0.0-1ubuntu3 hangs while loading the
folder content.

It is still possible to close the Thunar window, but afterwards, Thunar won't
even display the
content of my local disk etc..

I also tried to hide the status bar, but that didn't change anything.

Using Nautilus on Xubuntu 9.04, I can access that big folder without any
problems.

On Xubuntu 8.10, the latest Thunar could also access the NetApp share
without any problems.

If you have any idea how I could provide mor debug info, please tell me
how.
