Hm. If you read comment 6 it appears that smbclient successfully browses the
share ?
Comment 9 is confusing. Just to be sure, try put the following in your
/etc/smb.conf to force samba client tools to use it:
client lanman auth = yes
And let us know if it fixes your browsing issue.
