Hi again, Mikel In my case, I did a fresh installing of Xubuntu.
Besides, I had some problem with the Alsa Drivers, the Nvidia Drivers and the IDE HD, among others.. (if you trace all my post, you'll note how can I solved them). I think that the problem is the lowest compatibility between the Mother Asus M3N78 and the Linux system (specifically, the "N" in the name of the model, it means that the mother has Nvidia chipset, now I think that this is the real problem)..
