Similar issue here on a Acer Travelmate C110 with Intel 855GM - brightness keys (FN-left/right) work without a proble until first suspend/resume, then brightness cannot be changed anymore and remains 100%. - xev does never give output on those keys - tried various grub parameters regarding acpi (acpi=off, nolapic, acpi_osi=Windows/Linux,...) - setting brightness via terminal "sudo echo -n <value>| sudo tee /proc/acpi/video/*/LCD/brightness" does not work anymore
No problems with Ubuntu Gutsy (if I remember right), same problem with recent Arch Linux :( Please let me know about debug information output needed. -- Putting laptop to suspend breaks the brightness control https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/351443 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
