#It appears that the eject button works like one would find on the front
of a dvd player with a tray.
#The following setting in /etc/sysctl.conf will make it work
## allow eject of cdrom using eject button
#dev.cdrom.lock=0
#Works?
That does eject the CD/DVD from the computer but the kernel does not
unmount it before eject. It leaves a CD/DVD icon on the desktop that can
not be removed.
There should be a better solution.
