Here you are. The file "Diaarchiv.odb" contains the database and "print.odt" the linked data fields.
"Diaarchiv.odb" is registered in OO's preferences. If you press F4 in "print.odt" you should see the "Diatabelle" as data source. Now try to print out a standard letter in "print.odt". Then you see that the data fields remain empty.
