I have reinstalled the entire operating system from the beta build of
jaunty on my AMD2.6i386 machine, updated to latest updates with no
additional software added or configuration changes and can confirm the
bug still exists.
I also have tested a laptop and the problem is there as well. I have a
VMware version of Jaunty at Alpha 6 which doesn't exhibit the problem
and now testing for the bug in VM machine.
To recreate the bug,
Click on system -> help and support
change focus to ubuntu help centre
Click on help -> report a problem
nothing appears to happen. On the earilier versions the data collection
process would occur.
