I had suspected this. I'm not sure though whether it is a bad hardware of a suspend bug.
LMT, by itself, doesn't do much. Usually if there's an LMT bug, a simple ON_AC => ON_BAT => ON_AC will be able to trigger it. I'd suggest you first do a full backup of your data.
