Actually, it appears that gnome-app-install doesn't actually crash (or
at least, not the GUI). It does happen over and over again though, as
soon as I switch to a new category. The contents of the category isn't
displayed until I click on the previous category, and then on to the
next category (the one I wanted to switch to in the first place) again.
Then as soon as I move on to the next category who's content I haven't
seen yet, I get the crash report again.
