To find the interface in 8.04 (im not sure as i'm in intrepid right now so cannot check) just go system> preferences> bluetooth. I think the documentation does the job though, its not easy to make one documentation page cover all distro-releases and I think the docteam has done a fine job. I agree with you however that the page should be divided in to releases more than it already is (as it is to a certain extent already).
