So it was easy to reproduce: 1. removed all all fglrx stuff unsing envy-ng 2. instlal all the fglrx again using envy 3. aticonfig --initial 4. boot X 5. open player (kaffeine in my case, but it does not really matter) 6. put to video files in playlist and start playing the first one 7. skip to the next one (using the button... or you can watch the first one all if you enjoy the video) 8. crash happens 9. for a while appears the console at F8 key 10. screen gets blank, no response to keyboard
