According to the bug comments upstream, this functionality works in the
prerelease versions of KDE 4.3.
Since that's the case, I will be marking this bug as "Fix Committed". The bug
will be marked fix released and will be closed once KDE 4.3 snapshots enter the
development version of Kubuntu 9.10 next month.
Unfortunately, since we don't know what exactly fixed the problem, it
will be unlikely that we will be able to apply fixes to our packages for
Kubuntu 9.04.
