Ok, i made some more tests: i didn't fiddle anything: no installing theme, no deleting theme, so just trying to change from a preinstalled one to another. i saw more details: when the cursors theme might be changed (manually or via another "whole" theme) nothing seems to have been changed. then i restart my session: it's changed !...
