Binary package hint: kpackagekit

On installing software updates, kpackage kit shows dialog indicating
that an internal system error has occured. Clicking in details tells me
"The backend process took too much time to process the synchronous
request -- you need to fork!".

kpackagekit version: 0.4-0ubuntu8

Steps to reproduce:
1. Wait for software updates to become available.
2. Click on "software updates available" icon in system tray.
3. Click on "apply all available updates".
4. After all changes are committed, dialog pops up saying "Internal system 
error has occured".
5. Click on "details"
