Public bug reported: Binary package hint: computer-janitor
Computer Janitor may list the same package for removal twice, if there are two reasons to remove it. For example, I have libawn0-bzr shown twice when I run CJ. When selected, the first entry reads: "Package is not longer supported [etc.]" Second entry reads: "Package was install because another package required it [etc.]" Yes, it is important to show each reason for selecting a package for removal, but there's a better interface required. k...@stumpy:~$ apt-cache policy computer-janitor computer-janitor: Installed: 1.12.1-0ubuntu2 Candidate: 1.12.1-0ubuntu2 Version table: *** 1.12.1-0ubuntu2 0 500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com jaunty/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ** Affects: computer-janitor (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Duplicate items in computer janitor report https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/360532 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
