This is not automatically a bug; it depends on the current state of the
disk whether that option appears or not. Please attach /var/log/syslog
and /var/log/partman from the running installer (they're in
/var/log/installer/ if you have a completed installation) so that I can
check why it decided not to offer that option.
(These logs are needed for pretty much all bugs reported against
ubiquity; you can use 'ubuntu-bug ubiquity' on the live CD to report a
bug with all the information we need.)
