First of all I did a full backup of my HD :-) Then I did a full smart check and no error was reported.
Now my laptop, when running on battery, spin down the HD every 8-10 seconds of inactivity; this power management policy is too aggressive as I already said in a top post. Am I the only one with this problem? Manually set the hdparm -B 254 solve the problem, but i don't know which software sets the default policy, if LMT or other acpi tool. "hdparm -I" always displays: "Recommended acoustic management value: 254, current value: 128" Why? -- Harddisk stops working after wakeup https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/358943 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
