Here is how I reproduced it: 1) Start Simplify Media (can download from here: http://www.simplifymedia.com/) 2) Start rhythmbox 3) In the side pane, under "Shared", select one of your Simplify Media shares a) The first issue is that nothing loads. In ubuntu 8.10, this works fine and loads the song list from your simplify media share. 4) In the side pane, select something other than the share you selected in step 3 a) When you make this selection, you should notice that the share from step 3 now as the expand triangle next to it, indicating that the share loaded. 5) Reselect the share from step 3, you should now see that your list of music has loaded. 6) Try to play a song from this share, rhythmbox will look like it is going to load the song, then it just crashes.
I realize this bug involves a third party program, but Simplify Media works fine under 8.10. Also, I think the way Simplify Media works is it just presents the shares to rhythmbox as DAAP shares, so it doesn't seem like anything should be different from 8.10 to 9.04. -- rhythmbox crashed with SIGSEGV in rb_shell_clipboard_sync() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/358050 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
