Public bug reported:
In a fully updated Xubuntu Intrepid system
running on a Dell Dimension 2400,
right-clicking on the NetworkManager applet and choosing
"Connection Information" when plugged into Ethernet
gives "NULL(info.linux.driver)" in the "Driver:" field.
(The connection works fine, though.)
`sudo lspci -vnvn` shows it's a Broadcom chipset and
that it's using the b44 driver:
