Sorry, but I am new to bug reports, and I thought that my bug was related to that one. My Pigdin crashed with no apparent reason, as it was in background mode with my MSN and Google Talk accounts logged in. Since I could not read the crash report (its window closed just after it sents the report), I thought that it could be the same bug.
By the way, my Pidgin installation is running just fine by now, maybe the bug that crashed my program was corrected in one of the recent updates. So I won't submit a new bug. Thanks for the attention and sorry about my poor English, Tomé > there is no indication that the new comments are the same bug, you > should open new bugs about those > > -- > pidgin crashed with SIGSEGV (Just running in background connected to MSN > account) > https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/202796 > You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber > of the bug. > > Status in âpidginâ source package in Ubuntu: Invalid > > Bug description: > Binary package hint: pidgin > > Just has pidgin running in taskbar (connected to MSN account) and crashed. > I wasn't using it at the time. > > ProblemType: Crash > Architecture: i386 > Date: Sun Mar 16 11:10:49 2008 > DistroRelease: Ubuntu 8.04 > ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/pidgin > NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia > Package: pidgin 1:2.3.1-2ubuntu1 > PackageArchitecture: i386 > ProcCmdline: pidgin > ProcEnviron: > PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games > LANG=en_GB.UTF-8 > SHELL=/bin/bash > Signal: 11 > SourcePackage: pidgin > Stacktrace: > #0 0xb4db45ff in ??
