Hi Andy, I also found this bug report: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/267963
Although I have not seen bug reports by user Zillode, this user encountered the no sound problem again around the same date as we did. Thus it might be related. He claims he has a way to fix the problem. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/267963/comments/16 His solution was as follows: "Fixed it by reducing alsa-base to: lho...@lhoste-laptop:~$ cat /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base options snd slots=snd-hda-intel alias snd-card-0 snd-hda-intel options snd-hda-intel model=auto (and reboot)" I am no sure if this just is a quick and dirty bypass or if it might help to solve the bug. I haven tried this myself yet. -- No sound in Intrepid after kernel update to 2.6.27-11.31 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/357970 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
