For some reason, an old kernel was being loaded, therefore the
powernowd-initscript was looking for modules in the wrong directory
(kernel/cpufreq i.s.o. kernel/cpu/cpufreq). Re-installation of kernel
2.6.28 and powernowd fixed the problem.
