Till, In OpenOffice print menu I selected "Print to File" which seemed to work fine and produced a postscript file with the proper letter displayed, printing to CUPS-PDF however did not work and according to the user printing to their physical printer also did not work. The OOo "Export as PDF" option also worked fine for me.
