That needs attention.
As for the problem with the nvidia detection. The code of nvidia-detector is
run just fine.
But when update-manager runs it is using the intrepid version of nvidia-common.
That version does not have "nvidia-glx-177" in oldPackages. I see two solutions:
a) include a copy of the current nvidia detector in the release-upgrader
b) add nvidia-glx-177 to oldPackages after importing the module in u-m
I think for jaunty its ok to go with (b) because the diff of nvidia-
common does essentially only have this delta.
