I'm sorry, I got mixed up by the line "Suspend/resume has always worked
perfectly on this laptop." Because I didn't read carefully enough I took
the word hibernate as suspend in the second sentence. I apologise for
that. You're sure right this is different than suspend/resume failure.
Quite recently this bug also occurred on my nc10 although it always
worked fine before in contrast to suspend which will sometimes fail.
