 xserver-xorg-video-tdfx                   1:1.4.0-2

Addtional note: when running

$ glxinfo

I get with the tdfx driver

$ glxinfo
name of display: :0.0
X Error of failed request:  BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)
  Major opcode of failed request:  154 (GLX)
  Minor opcode of failed request:  3 (X_GLXCreateContext)

I tried enforcing 16bit colours and not using the frame buffer device,
but to no avail.

Note that switching to the vesa driver does remedy.
