Migrating from a world of Windows, after installing required packages
like libdvdcss2, etc. I had no idea that I needed to set such a simple
setting in most players to deinterlace interlaced video in order for it
to play properly without horrible horizontal movement render lines.
Where as in Windows it will automatically deinterlace the video, thus I
think it is a great note to make because I know lots of people stopped
using Ubuntu because they couldn’t figure such a simple thing out.
